It is often said that people may not remember what one said to them or did for them but they will certainly remember how one made them feel. Perhaps, that is the essence of humanity and Golden Butterflies, as an entity, has perfected the art of making terminally ill children and their families feel cared for, wanted and comforted. Palliative care needs tremendous patronage in the Indian context and the efforts of Golden Butterflies in this realm is certainly praise-worthy, I appeal to everyone to join hands in this noble effort. Volunteers, WINGSI am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the CSR Activities Organised by Golden Butterflies. I would like to express my gratitude for allowing my mother to be a part of the CSR Event Adi Dhool (2nd October 2022) as well.
During the event, we had numerous memorable experiences. We had the chance to connect with all the children, help in manning the stalls, and witness their enthusiastic participation. The activities planned, such as the Memory Game and arranging the cups, were great initiatives. The children especially enjoyed receiving stamps at the end of each game, and it brought us joy to see their happiness. The day was further enhanced by the dance performances, which left a smile on every child’s face during the prize distribution. I would like to extend my gratitude for the interactive learning experiences and the arrangements made for us as volunteers, including transportation and food. These efforts made us feel valued and appreciated. Thank you once again for this opportunity.

Nandini, HSE Department LTEH Beneficiaries Speak My daughter (Angel), age 7, was diagnosed with blood cancer (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) and admitted in Lakshmi Pain and Palliative Care Trust on March 22, 2019. This is where we met good souls from Golden Butterflies. Unfortunately, we lost our daughter and were numb with grief. We are glad that we were invited by Golden Butterflies to participate in a function organized on November 14, 2019. The way you spoke about my daughter in the function and portrayed her talents, brought solace to my grieving heart. The donation of INR 10,000 towards the education of my elder daughter came as an unexpected surprise. Golden Butterflies continue to help us. The Covid-19 lockdown and curfew made it impossible to play our auto service and we were struggling to pay our house rent. GB supported us with INR 5,000 in our time of need.
